Meet Lisa an experienced, warm and compassionate Senior Psychologist that enjoys supporting others for over 12 plus years. She has extensive training and experience in EMDR, Schema therapy, CBT, Transformational Chair work, DBT and ACT.
She has worked with a diverse variety of cultures and uses a humanistic and person-centered approach in her work. She aims to provide a collaborative, safe and non-judgemental experience to achieve your therapy goals.
She has experience working with allied health professionals, law, military, police, defence and emergency workers. She has an interest in providing EMDR to support emergency and front line workers to sustain longevity in stressful work environments and recover from trauma events.
Lisa will spend some time getting to know you, and your current concerns. Together you will identify and develop therapy goals and an individual treatment plan will be discussed with you. She will be here to support you to process and explore your current world, emotions and thoughts and celebrate your victories and growth.
She grew up in Sydney and has been living in Canberra for the past few years. She has children and two cats.
She loves being creative and spending time with family and friends.
Buddhini Pritchard
Psychologist
Buddhini is a compassionate and empathetic psychologist with experience supporting people of all ages across the public and community sectors through individual therapy and group programs.
She offers a warm, genuine, and caring approach, focusing on providing a safe space for sharing your therapeutic journey.
She draws on a variety of evidence-based interventions, working collaboratively to tailor specific individual treatment. She will work closely with you to explore your current needs in treatment and guide you through therapy to develop skills that support your well-being and help you achieve your treatment goals.
Buddhini has experience with a broad range of presentations. Her training includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and trauma informed CBT, incorporating aspects of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). She has a particular focus on supporting clients experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and stress.
Born in Sri Lanka and raised in Canberra, Buddhini completed her studies at the Australian National University and Monash University. As a recent mother, she understands the challenges of balancing life. In her spare time, she enjoys being creative through art and baking and spending time with her family and friends.
